Nick is renowned for his ability of being able to work under pressure and produce work that conforms with the client’s brief. His extensive knowledge of livestock ensures that not only are the animals dealt with in a humane manner he is able to work quickly and to minimise any stress.
Over the past twelve months Nick has undertaken commissions for a number of national and international clients including Nestle Purina, Butchers dog food, Natural Instinct, Time Inc, Unicarriers Ltd, Dodson and Horrell and Archant Publishing. Nicks speciality is obviously dogs but he has also worked with some of the leading show jumping horses and various smaller domestic and farm animals. He also works for a number of animal charities such as The Blue Cross, Hearing Dogs for Deaf People and Canine Partners.
Although we do not have a “base” studio we have a totally portable set-up and can set up a high key (white background) studio at any location, this is ideal where the animals need to be photographed in situ such as an animal centre or in a home environment.
If the commission requires an outdoor photo-shoot we have a fully equipped unit with an independent power supply where we can run computer systems and printers for client proofing. We also have 4×4 vehicles with the facilities to setup viewing a station in any geographical location to ensure our clients are entirely happy with the images as the shoot progresses. We also have an extensive list of contacts with well-trained animals and can source most breeds of domestic animals (fee applies).
Over the past couple of years we have been developing our video fiming and editing and have been working with a number of dog trainers and breed clubs to produce short promo films.
A recent project saw us working with the Laggotto Club of Great Britain to produce a video showing the dogs at work in the shooting field, this film was then submitted to the Kennel Club to support a successful bid to prevent re-classification of the breed. We now have various HD video cameras along with the latest POV (point of view) cameras from the USA, these cameras are also completely water-proof so we are able to get some unique footage of dogs working or playing in water. Video is the ideal media to use when advertising stud or working dogs. We have also been filming a number of rough shooting trips during the 2015/2016 shooting season please visit our YouTube Channel.
We hold over 400,000 images in a categorised photo library with images of the majority of Kennel Club registered British breeds of dog held on record, including many vulnerable breeds.
We have been supplying images worldwide for over 20 years and have a number of international clients in our portfolio. We are used to working to tight deadlines and we have a secure download server where clients can view both light boxes and download high resolution digital files.
We also have cat, horse, small domestic animal, animal behaviour, veterinary, rural and field sports images on file and as we specialise in action images we are able to supply totally unique and hard to find pictures. We are flexible in our usage rates so we can normally accommodate most clients’ budgets. If you are looking to source images for any commercial purpose, please contact us with your requirements.
